Process Week 3

The documentary is running into a lot of problems due to the fact we are using Imovie and none of us have Macs. Imovie is a system that allows the user to edit film to his/her liking. The only time we can really work on the project is when we have class three times a week. When we all get together for class we find that only one person is able to edit the documentary at a time. This leads the rest of the group waiting around and feeling a sense of ineffectiveness. I always want to get involved in what we are doing but find myself lost when it comes to this type of technology.  Kyle designated himself the one who is going to work on the project when we are together. I am glad he stepped up to this role, because I feel like he knows the most about how this technology works. We are relying on him to come through and I believe he is doing the best he can under our circumstances. When Kyle works on the project the rest of us are basically on standby waiting for whatever he needs us to do. This autocracy is needed though if we are to complete this project on time. If we had multiple people switching out on one computer to work on the project we would run into a lot of delays. If we had each person switch off on one computer they would have to get orientated on what is going on which would lead to delay. The system that we have now is working and I think we need to stay with this type of group operating style.
